 Poroshenko signs law on unlimited moratorium for Yanukovych's debt payments to Russia

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the Rada-adopted bill that makes the temporary moratorium on payment of Eurobonds for the loan granted to Ukraine by the Russian Federation in December 2013 unlimited.

As reported by Censor.NET citing 112, the relevant bill on making amendments to article 4 of the law of Ukraine "About peculiarities of concluding deals with a state, state-guaranteed debt and local debt" was signed by the president on April 29.

The bill No. 3677 was passed by the Verkhovna Rada in the first reading as a whole by 242 votes.

The bill excludes a phrase "and is effective until July 1, 2016" from the abovementioned law and makes it evergreen.
