Undoubtedly, the migration crisis has dominated the EU agenda over the recent months, Waszczykowski said. The scale of the crisis, the minister stressed, turned out bigger than expected by many European politicians. This concerns all EU member countries to some extent, and a universal solution to the crisis should be found, Waszczykowski said.

He noted that despite everything, the situation in Ukraine remains of high priority as well.

The foreign minister of Poland stressed that recent escalation of the Syrian conflict due to Russian participation in it has made it 'hotter' than that in Ukraine.

The influx of migrants is focusing the attention of many countries on the southern borders of the EU, Waszczykowski said. Lack of progress in the Minsk agreements implementation causes certain natural fatigue. That's what Russia wanted, the minister added.
