21-year-old Ukrainian soldier Roman Svirzhevskyi killed in ATO area May 1, - volunteer Viktoria Shynkarenko

Ukrainian soldier Roman Svirzhevskyi, who was only 21 years old, was killed in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area May 1.

Volunteer Viktoria Shynkarenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"My heart bleeds... Roman Svirzhevskyi was killed today (May 1, 2016 - Ed.). Roman was only 21 years old. He went off to war when he was 19. It is just impossible to convey how much it hurts when you are acquainted with the person. I asked him to quit because of his poor health, but he said that his fellows were still there... I heard it many times," she wrote.
