Two Ukrainian hostages brought to Novocherkassk jail from Donetsk region, - Savchenko

Nadiia Savchenko told her sister Vira about two young men who had been brought to the Novocherkassk jail from the territory of Ukraine's Donetsk region.

Censor.NET reports citing Vira Savchenko's Facebook.

"When we met, Nadiia told me that day (Wednesday, April 27) two guys had been brought to jail No. 3, Novocherkassk, Russia, from cellars of the Donetsk region... Our soldiers?" she wrote.

"In any case, people are "drowning" in a prison of peoples, Russia..," Savchenko added.

In a comment to Savchenko's post, First Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's representative at the Minsk talks Iryna Herashchenko wrote the following: "How can we learn the names of these guys? Russia ignores all our inquiries about the possible detention of Ukrainian captives in Russian prisons."

"It's unofficial persons who have to obtain this information, through informal channels, and Ukraine's authorities have to notify the Russian Federation upon the fact... It's like that," Savchenko replied.
