"Today is Good Friday. This year, Easter will be a test for Russia's belonging to the Christian civilization. To pass this test, Russia and its puppets must unconditionally cease fire at least at Easter. If they do so, I, for my part, am ready to guarantee the observance of the cease-fire regime by the Ukrainian side, hoping it will become permanent, unlimited in time," he wrote.
Poroshenko also noted he expected support of this initiative on behalf of Ukraine's Western partners.
As ATO press center previously reported, militants committed 22 attacks on Ukrainian forces' positions over the last day.
