 "Vira Savchenko crossed Ukrainian border, arrived in native land," - Poroshenko

Ukrainian MP Nadiia Savchenko's sister Vira has already crossed the Ukrainian border and arrived in her native land.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"I've been just informed by the consul general in Rostov that Vira Savchenko has crossed the Ukrainian border and already arrived in her native land," Poroshenko wrote.

Earlier, Nadiia Savchenko's lawyer said her sister Vira had been detained at the Chertkovo border control point in the Rostov region late night April 27.

Ukraine's Foreign Ministry confirmed that Vira Savchenko was not allowed to leave Russia. It became known later that Vira left for Rostov together with consuls.
