 Poroshenko instructs Foreign Ministry to make every effort to release Vira Savchenko

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko instructed the Foreign Ministry to do everything possible to return Vira Savchenko in Ukraine.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Twitter.

The Foreign Ministry stressed: "The Russians have taken Vira's passport. She stays in a diplomatic car together with the consul. The car is blocked. We hope that the Russian authorities will not push things too far."

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote in this regard: "I have instructed the Foreign Ministry to make every effort to return Vira Savchenko in Ukraine. We have informed our international partners on this situation. Consul General of Ukraine in Rostov is already on his way to the place of Vira Savchenko's detention."
