 UN Security Council to meet tomorrow on Ukraine's initiative as situation in Donbas aggravates

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will initiate a meeting of the UN Security Council due to militants' violations of the Minsk agreements.

Censor.NET reports quoting Poroshenko's Facebook.

"On April 28, at 10 p.m. Kyiv time, an open meeting of the UN Security Council, initiated on my behalf by the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations, will take place in New York.

"The reason: the deterioration of security situation in the Donbas and Russia's failure to implement the Minsk agreements.

"I've instructed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Prystaiko to acquaint the international community with the latest information about the criminal activities of invaders in the Donbas and in Crimea, in particular about the prohibition of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people," the president wrote.
