Nuland did not voice exact dates of Donbas elections, - Hroisman

Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland did not speak about precise dates of voting in the Russian-occupied Donbas as well as amending the Constitution.

As reported by Censor.NET referring to Ukrinform, it was announced by Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman at a briefing held after a government session on Wednesday.

"Yesterday I met with Victoria Nuland. She didn't make such categorical statements," Hroisman said.

According to him, the parties discussed the implementation of reforms in Ukraine and their support on behalf of the United States. Attention was paid to the situation in the Donbas and its settlement.

"But no specific matters or dates were discussed during the meeting," the PM assured.

Hroisman and Nuland talked about the implementation of the Minsk agreements. "We fulfill them, now it's about Russia. They should remove their military, mercenaries, and weapons from the Donbas, and then we'll be able to restore prospects for life there," Hroisman remarked.
