Petro Poroshenko Bloc (BPP) faction MP Serhii Leshchenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"Savik Shuster has his permission to work in Ukraine canceled after all," he wrote.
Detektor Media reported yesterday citing own sources in law enforcement agencies that Kyiv City Employment Center canceled permission of TV presenter Savik Shuster to work in Ukraine.
Savik Shuster himself said he knew nothing about such a decision and advised journalists to speak to the legal department of 3S TV channel.
Later, lawmaker Leshchenko unveiled details of the incident with the cancellation of TV presenter Savik Shuster's work permit. It turned out that the Migration Service has extended Schuster's permission to work in Ukraine two weeks ago. However, the agency changed its mind and canceled the permission yesterday, April 25. The Employment Centre invited 3S TV channel representatives to explain the reasons for the decision today.
"As for Schuster, the situation is more difficult than we expected: at first they granted him the work permit and then changed their mind... Two decisions were made two weeks apart. They had an epiphany after a phone call. It's called telephone right as it is, which is unacceptable regardless of the person it is applied to," Leshchenko wrote.
