Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Luhansk regional prosecutor's office.
"The pretrial investigation established that in September 2014, a resident of Brianka in the Luhansk region joined the detachment of the armed group which was not stipulated by the applicable Ukrainian law and took active part in its illegal activities.
"The mentioned woman, armed with automatic and riot control weapons, was in charge of guarding Almazna railway station in the Luhansk region, as well as repeatedly guarded the checkpoints on the territory controlled by the illegal armed groups.
"This person has been served notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of the Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court has imposed confinement against her as a pretrial restriction," the statement reads.
The separatist faces imprisonment for a term of three to eight years with confiscation of property or without it.
