 Poroshenko appoints Kostiantyn Bryl head of Zaporizhia Regional State Administration

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has appointed Kostiantyn Bryl the chairman of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration.

Censor.NET reports citing the president's Twitter.

The statement reads: "I have made a decision on the appointment of Kostiantyn Bryl - a person with high degree of responsibility - the head of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration."

Bryl was born in 1970 in Donetsk. He graduated from the Omsk Higher Military School (Russia) in 1991 where he learned the trade of armor and automobile engineer.

In 2000, he graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs as a lawyer, the National Academy of State Administration - in 2010, Internal Academy of Personnel Management - in 2015.

He was served as police officer from 1993 to2002, tax police officer - from 2002 to 2008, and the officer of the Security Service of Ukraine in 2010.

He was appointed the first deputy chairman of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration Sept. 25, 2015, and became the acting governor on Dec. 16, 2015.
