Censor.NET reports referring to Verkhovna Rada First Vice Speaker Iryna Herashchenko's Facebook.
"At today's meeting of the humanitarian subgroup in Minsk, where the Ukrainian side is represented by me and Viktor Medvedchuk, we came forth with an initiative to free hostages: we have given the "DPR" a list of 25 Ukrainians requiring primary medical care, who have stayed in prison for a long time and experience health problems, so that they are released as quickly as possible.
"In return, the Ukrainian side is ready to release 50 people who are sought for by representatives of certain areas of the Donetsk region.
"We suggest that the operation to free the hostages take place on the eve of Easter so that dozens of families could celebrate this glorious Orthodox holiday together. We are ready to make every effort to have our hostages released and we are looking forward to a soonest answer. We've also reminded about the appeal of Ukrainian teachers and scientists to "DPR" representatives to urgently free religious studies scholar I. Kozlovskyi, and we are waiting for an answer as well," she wrote.
"We've offered considering the issues relating to the rights of children in one of the next meetings of the group," Herashchenko added.
