"This information is not true. Both notifying him of suspicion and preparing a notice is out of question at the moment," Kutsenko said.
According to him, Serhii Horbatiuk continues to perform his duties, and he recently filed a report to acting Prosecutor General Yurii Sevruk, claiming possible pressure on him and obstructing his work. That is why the service check has been initiated to establish all the circumstances, the PGO representative remarked.
"The Prosecutor General's Office has created all necessary conditions for the work of the Special Investigations Department led by Serhii Horbatiuk and PGO's expectations of actual results of his work as regards the investigation of all cases related to the Revolution of Dignity are quite logical," Kutsenko stressed.
He also noted that the public has many questions in terms of probes into such cases, and a lot of criticism is addressed to the PGO.
According to Kutsenko, any pressure on Horbatiuk is out of question. This is proved by the fact Horbatiuk was elected yesterday a delegate to the All-Ukrainian Conference of Public Prosecution Employees.
