Poroshenko, Saakashvili, Hroisman discussed customs issues and personnel policy in PGO, SBU, and SFS

Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili has discussed the critical issues of the region with President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman.

Censor.NET reports referring to Saakashvili's Facebook.

"President Poroshenko has invited Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman and me to the Presidential Administration to discuss the issues that I have raised repeatedly and that for many months have been sabotaged and still remain unsolved. We've discussed the possibility of completing the construction and launching the new Odesa customs, where only due to technologies and new employees, recruited via competition and given a high salary, the process will dramatically speed up and it will be impossible to take bribes. We have also discussed the issues of accelerating the construction of roads, staffing the prosecutor's office, the Security Service, the State Fiscal Service. I once again raised the issue of introducing amendments to the acts of the Cabinet in order to put an end to the walnut mafia, make the winemakers' life easier, and stop driving the economy in the shadows," the Odesa governor wrote.

"The PM asked for a few days to come up with his proposals. On Saturday, I'll get final answers and report them to the residents of the Odesa region and the public at large," Saakashvili added.
