This was stated by German representative to the OSCE, State Secretary Stephan Steinlein at the opening of the 4th East Berlin Forum, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
The situation in Ukraine is not that simple, although there is a new government and a new prime minister who promised to proceed with reforms, the German diplomat said, calling for support for Ukraine's PM.
Steinlein noted that Volodymyr Hroisman is an experienced politician, and recalled a recent meeting with him in Kyiv, noting the fact they were talking in Polish which Hroisman masters perfectly. The Ukrainian PM sees Polish reforms as an example, Steinlein said, adding that the success of reforms in Ukraine should be a common goal of both Germany and Poland.
The economic integration is superficial if there is no political integration, the diplomat stressed.
