Ukrainian military downed Russian drone in Donetsk region. VIDEO+PHOTO

Operatives of military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine are studying information from carriers of a Russian drone downed by units of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces near the village of Novoselivka of Volnovakha district, the Donetsk region.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Russian-made ZALA 421-04M drone fell on a minefield, so it took some time to deliver it to experts.

A device of this type is intended for surveillance in difficult weather conditions and for discharge of small loads.

Pro-Russian terrorist groups regularly use drones in these areas, thus violating the Minsk agreements. Ukrainian secret forces have many times recorded increases in intensity of shelling against Ukrainian units near Hranitne village after flights of drones over the area.

Ukrainian technicians are currently working with the drone. They will check the recorded video and photo files from the device memory.
