 Terrorists opened fire 79 times along entire demarcation line yesterday, used anti-tank missile systems, mortars, and artillery, - Staff

In the east of Ukraine, Russian-controlled gangs continue conducting armed provocations against the ATO forces.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center in its report as of 6 a.m. April 18, posted on Facebook.

According to the Staff, pro-Russian militants opened fire 79 times yesterday along the entire demarcation line: "from mortars of 120-mm and 82-mm caliber at Avdiivka direction - four times, Zaitseve - three times; two cases of shelling upon Ukrainian troops' positions occurred at Butivka mine, one near Krasnohorivka, Pisky, Opytne, Berezove and Krymske each."

It is reported that near Taramchuk, Ukrainian strong points were shelled from mortars and cannon artillery of 122-mm caliber. Near Lebedynske, the enemy used an anti-tank missile system; in Maiorsk and Opytne it fired from IFV weapons.

"It was unquiet near Luhanske, Shyrokyne, Marinka, Nevelske, Verkhniotoretske. There, illegal armed gangs again violated the cease-fire using small arms and grenade launchers.

"With the purpose of holding their positions, Ukrainian soldiers opened fire 18 times," the message reads.
