This was announced by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov at a press conference with his Polish counterparts in Warsaw, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrinform.
"We are seriously preparing to the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO group. We are preparing to present a new concept of the reform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during those meetings," Turchynov said.
He stressed it was very important for Kyiv that the NATO summit paid significant attention to Russian aggression in Ukraine. NSDC Secretary hopes that the countries of the Alliance will "give evaluation to the Russian aggression in Ukraine."
Turchynov assured that Ukraine highly praises cooperation with Poland.
"We pay much attention to cooperation in military and technical sector. Ukrainian and Polish defense industries have launcher serious strategic programs that will enhance defense and security of the countries. Strong Ukrainian and Polish armies are a guarantee of safety in Europe," Turchynov said.
