Today, the intensity of enemy fire against Ukrainian soldiers was high.

"32 cases of cease-fire violation have been registered in the area of anti-terrorist operation (ATO) over the day. In the vicinity of Avdiivka, militants 15 times attacked our positions with mortars and smaller caliber weaponry. Ukrainian defenders near Maiorsk and Vodiane came under 120- and 82-mm mortar fire, while strong points near Zaitseve were shelled with mortars and 152-mm artillery.

"Using grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms, militants struck Ukrainian army positions in Pisky, while enemy sniper activity was recorded in Marinka. Seeking to exhaust Ukrainian soldiers, terrorists delivered both aimed and random fire against them.

"Ukrainian troops were forced to open fire three times after terrorists came close to our defense lines," the evening report reads.
