People's Front might leave coalition talks, Interior Minister Avakov says

Coalition talks between Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) and People's Front factions have again deadlocked and might grow into another crisis, this one being on coalition direction.

As informed by Censor.NET, this was told to LIGA.net by one of the high-profile members of the so-called 'strategic seven', Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, who participated in the last night negotiations in the Presidential Administration.

According to him, no balance could be reached.

A meeting of the People's Front faction is planned for tomorrow, during which members of the prime minister's team will decide whether they should remain in the talks and, moreover, in the government.

"The possibility of the exit is quite high. Let them form it themselves," the minister said.

As the team of Arsenii Yatseniuk explained, the balance could not be reached due to staff demands of Petro Poroshenko's team. When talking to a reporter, the People's Front members characterized the president's line's behavior with the words "stupid," "hopeless," and some foul language.

"It's highly probable that we'll quit the government," the minister said

Earlier, leader of PPB parliamentary faction Yurii Lutsenko announced that the last night talks allegedly lead to agreeing upon the prime minister candidate and the composition of the government.

"At midnight, some signs of mind sparkled here. The candidacy of the prime minister and the composition of the government have been agreed upon," Lutsenko said.
