As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center in its report as of 6 a.m. April 12, posted on Facebook.
According to the Staff, militants continue using large-caliber weapons against the ATO forces: "Shelling from mortars our positions near Pisky, Maiorsk, Zaitseve, Luhanske, Kamianka, illegal armed gangs committed fire strikes 16 times from 120-mm and 82-mm weapons."
The enemy was the most active near Avdiivka, where it shelled the ATO forces positions from mortars and smaller weapons 19 times.
It is also reported that militants conducted fire many times in direction of Stanytsia Luhanska, Nevelske, Opytne, Hnutove, Zaitseve, and Marinka.
IFV weapons were used by the enemy to fire upon strong points of Ukrainian forces near Luhanske, Butivka mine, and Novotroitske.
"The Kremlin supporters violate the cease-fire day and night. In the first case, they often fire upon their own positions in order to discredit soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the eyes of local people, in the second case they are guided by the notion that there are no OSCE monitoring mission near the demarcation line," the message reads.
The Staff also noted that units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire eight times in order to hold their positions.
