"I am not eager for premiership," - Hroisman

Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Hroisman said that becoming prime minister was not his personal goal.

As reported by Censor.NET, he announced this at a briefing after a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Conciliation Board. However, Hroisman said he was ready to take responsibility for new Cabinet's formation and work.

"I can take responsibility, be open, public, and do my best for the work to be effective," he said.

Hroisman also named conditions necessary for forming an effective and professional government.

"I would like the new government to have a reformist nucleus composed of people who have recently proven their impartiality, purity and ability to carry out reforms at both the ministerial level and the level of deputy ministers who have demonstrated results in their work," the speaker noted.
