 Hroisman on Yatseniuk's resignation statement: It was considered and dignified decision

Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroiisman said that Arsenii Yatseniuk's resignation statement was a dignified act.

As informed by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, he said this at the meeting of the coordination board of faction, committee, and group leaders of the parliament on Monday.

"As you know, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk applied for resignation yesterday. I understand it was a considered and dignified act; possibly, it was not simple, but is worth of respect," the speaker said.

Hroisman also noted that at the moment the Ukrainian parliament is expected to form the new coalition that is "able to create the new reformist government, elect the prime minister, and secure irreversibility of the European integration."

"I expect that the coalition will be created, the one that will allow forming the government that will be efficient and responsive to current challenges in high-quality and timely manner," Hroisman said opening the meeting of the coordination board of faction, committee, and group leaders of the parliament on Monday.

He informed that the agenda of the current plenary week includes more than 100 issues, and said that if a new coalition and government are formed, the agenda will be changed in accordance with the current events.
