This was announced by Kasko's lawyer Yevhen Hrushkovets on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET informs.
"Vitalli Kasko has not been served a notice of suspicion. The notice of suspicion was confiscated by police officers of the Pechersk district police department during examination of Vitalii Kasko's car damages. So the information spread by media is not true," Hrushkovets said.
The lawyer also noted that those who were serving the notice of suspicion had not presented their powers.
Hrushkovets said another attempt of serving the notice to Kasko is possible.
"I believe that another attempt to serve the notice of suspicion to Vitalii Kasko will be made. If it is served in accordance with the Criminal Procedural code, not at midnight, if the persons serving introduce themselves, if the notice is drafted in full compliance, we will accept it. And then, depending on its contents, we will be building the line of defense," he said.
The lawyer also expressed his hopes that the video from cameras that filmed the night events will be seized.
