As informed by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in its report as of 6 a.m. April 11, posted on Facebook.
According to the message, despite the decrease in the number of cease-fire violations from 91 the previous day to 64 cases yesterday, the enemy continues to intensively fire upon Ukrainian positions.
"The total of 16 cases of mortar shelling was recorded. Using the 120-m caliber, militants conducted fire upon Ukrainian units in Troitske and Luhanske; using 82-mm - near Talakivka, Shyrokyne, Maiorsk, and Novoselivka. The enemy was also active at Avdiivka suburbs, where missiles of both calibers were directed against Ukrainian soldiers in the industrial area.
"Our troops' defenses near Borodynske were fired at by gangs from cannon artillery. In particular, Sakhanka direction saw 35 cases of fire from 122-mm weapons," the message reads.
In addition, according to the Staff, the Kremlin mercenaries were firing upon strong points of the ATO forces near Opytne, Marinka, Stanytsia Luhanska, Pavlopil, Novotroitske, Pisky, Novhorodske and Verkhniotoretske from anti-aircraft mounts, grenade launchers, machine guns, small arms, and using snipers.
"Despite significant efforts by the enemy, the ATO forces continue controlling the situation. Over the indicated period they were forced to open fire seven times," the ATO press center added.
