Deputy head of Batkivshchyna faction Serhii Soboliev told ZN.UA, Censor.NET reports.
"A comprehensive answer to this question can not be given by an MP or a separate faction. According to the Constitution of Ukraine, only a temporary special investigative commission, special prosecutor, and special investigators can reply to this question. Deputies of different convocations voted to create them [such commissions - ed.], but, unfortunately, such laws were not signed by any of the presidents," he reminded.

"It is necessary to immediately pass the appropriate law," the politician said. "This is the only effective mechanism to establish the truth, regardless of who currently holds office as the president of Ukraine," Soboliev declared.

The parliamentarian also said that Batkivshchyna faction has introduced a bill of deoffshorization which can put a permanent end to attempts to "optimize" costs and risks. The bill is ready for registration, but 19 members of Batkivshchyna faction are not enough to pass the law. Consultations with other factions regarding this bill are necessary.
