No Ukrainian military were killed in the course of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of Ukraine on April 8.

This was announced by Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO matters Andrii Lysenko at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing the Information Analysis Center of the NSDC.

"Yesterday, no Ukrainian military were killed in combat activities, five received wounds," he said.

He added that Avdiivka remains the hottest spot. Four soldiers were wounded in the vicinity of the town. One more received injuries at the Donetsk airport.
