 Kliuiev brothers and ex-Energy Minister Stavytskyi still on international wanted list, - Interior Minister

According to information released by Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, Interpol admitted that Andrii Kliuiev, Serhii Kliuiev, and Eduard Stavytskyi were wanted all over the world following the inspection by the Commission for Control of Interpol’s Files (CCF).

Arsen Avakov wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

The minister quoted the official document: "The Interior Ministry was informed that the Commission for Control of Interpol's Files completed inspection of issued international warrants for the arrest of Ukrainian citizens Andrii Kliuiev, Serhii Kliuiev, and Eduard Stavytskyi.

"Following the inspection, the Commission concluded that Interpol was authorized to seek the location and arrest these citizens using its communication channels and other tools under the Charter and Rules of the Organization.

"On the basis of the Commission's recommendations, the General Secretariat of Interpol has granted access to the files of Andrii Kliuiev from March 30, 2016, Serhii Kliuiev - from March 31, 2016, and Eduard Stavytskyi from April 1, 2016."

The minister explained: "In simple terms, we had put the squeeze on the Commission for Control of Interpol's Files in Lyon, and our position regarding the appellants was recognized lawful after a long inspection. Therefore, all three individuals are on the international wanted list under legal action filed by Ukraine."
