 Haiduk remains commander of Ukrainian Navy, - Command press center

Vice-Admiral Serhii Haiduk remains commander of the Ukrainian Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Censor.NET reports quoting head of press center - Ukrainian Navy Command spokesman, captain Oleh Chubuk.

"As of today, April 4, Vice Admiral Serhii Haiduk acts as commander of the Ukrainian Navy. In particular, in the first half of the day, as commander of the Ukrainian Navy, he held a courtesy meeting on board Hetman Sahaidachnyi frigate with Turkish seamen, which will be further reported by Ukrainian Navy press center," Chubuk notes.

He denied reports by a number of online media about the change of Ukrainian Navy leadership.

In addition, he stressed that Ukrainian Navy press center has never been and can not by definition be the information and media outlet which reports on "dismissal-appointment" of a Ukrainian Armed Forces commander as "it is the prerogative of other structures."
