The number of attacks against anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces has increased from six to 26 compared with the past day.

Censor.NET reports referring to ATO press center.

"Terrorist gangs have again attacked Ukrainian soldiers' positions, using Minsk-banned weapons. In particular, they four times fired 82-mm mortars in the area of Avdiivka and once - near Novhorodske and Novozvanivka. After that, militants continued to fire in the direction of the above-mentioned positions with small arms and grenade launchers.

"In addition, Russian mercenaries have repeatedly employed weapons of different caliber to strike our strong points near Opytne, Shyrokyne, Krasnohorivka, Stanytsia Luhanska, Zaitseve, and Novotroitske.

"To repel the enemy, Ukrainian soldiers three times returned fire near Stanytsia Luhanska, using small arms," the report notes.
