The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area remains unstable. Over the past 24 hours, it was reported about 25 militants’ attacks at the ATO forces’ positions. The militants used banned, by the Minsk agreements, weapons for about seven times.

According to the report, in the Mariupol sector the terrorists shelled the ATO forces' positions at Vodiane with 120-mm mortars, and Shyrokyne with 82-mm mortars.

In the Donetsk sector, Avdiivka was mortared trice, while Pisky was mortared only once.

"Moreover, the terrorists used weapons of smaller caliber, namely grenade launchers of various systems, machine guns, anti-aircraft guns, and small arms along the whole front line. The militants fired at the Army's positions at Avdiivka, Butovka mine, Opytne, Maiorsk, Novotroitske, Novozvanvka, and Hnutove," the press center
emphasized.

Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were forced to fire back for about four times from small arms during the abovementioned period.
