 One civilian wounded in shelling in Luhansk region, another trips mine in own yard, - State Administration

Two local residents were injured in Popasna district of the Luhansk region yesterday, March 29.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the Luhansk regional state administration's press office on Facebook.

"Yesterday, March 29, the situation in the Luhansk direction became more tense. Terrorists opened fire upon Novooleksandrivka village (Popasna district), located in the grey zone, from automated grenade launchers. As a result of the shelling, a resident of Popasna was wounded in his summer house. The wounded came to a Ukrainian check point, from where he was delivered to the district hospital," the message reads.

It is also reported that a local resident stepped a trip wire planted in the yard of his house in Troitske village of Popasna district by saboteurs.

The press office also informed that a group of snipers belonging to terrorists troops were conducting aimed fire from Vesela Hora village upon the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces' positions near Shchastia: "We have received no information about casualties and damages."

Earlier, it was reported that pro-Russian militants opened fire 72 times yesterday upon positions of the ATO forces and continued using banned weapons.
