As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in its report as of 6 a.m. March 29, posted on Facebook.
According to the staff, the number of terrorist attacks on ATO troops' positions increased dramatically over the past day: from 50 to 72 cases.
As noted, the hottest spot was Avdiivka at Donetsk direction: "Here, our positions were hit 21 times with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars. The enemy also fired prohibited weapons on Luhanske, Leninske, Zaitseve, Maiorsk, while the last settlement was struck with 152-mm artillery.
"At Mariupol direction, the enemy employed small arms and grenade launchers against our strong points in Marinka, while Popasna came under fire at the Luhansk direction," the staff reported, adding that Ukrainian troops had to return fire 10 times to curb the enemy's advancing.
