People's Front to tackle issue of signing new coalition agreement at meeting with Poroshenko, faction head Burbak says

The People's Front parliamentary faction is going to raise the issue of signing a new coalition agreement at a meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko late on Monday, March 28.

People's Front Chairman Maksym Burbak told reporters after a meeting of the faction Monday evening, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"We are going to hold consultations with the president. It is necessary to discuss the proposal to convene the keynote meeting of the coalition factions tomorrow with the participation of the president, prime minister and speaker of the Verkhovna Rada," Burbak said.

According to him, People's Front is going to call on the meeting participants to append their signatures to the coalition agreement.

"We are well aware that two our factions alone cannot form a coalition," he added.

Burbak pointed out that the coalition should be created by the democratic factions only.
