The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area remains unchanged. The pro-Russian terrorists continue to provoke Ukrainian soldiers, violate the Minsk Agreements and use banned weapons.

Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center.

According to the report, the militants fired at the ATO forces' positions for about 39 times from 82-mm and 120-mm mortars, IFV's weapons, automatic grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, as well as small arms over the past 24 hours.

The situation was tense in the vicinity of Avdiivka town. Ukrainian positions were shelled with 120-mm mortars and fired from grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns. Snipers were reported in the area. In order to retain their positions, the ATO forces fired back six times.

In the Donetsk sector, the Army's strongholds at Luhanske, Novhorodske, Maiorsk, Zaitseve, Leninske, Pisky, and Opytne were attacked by the terrorists.

The militants have also delivered six attacks in the Mariupol sector. Thus, Marinka and Krasnohorovka were fired from grenade launchers and small arms.

Ukrainian servicemen continue to firmly hold the line in the ATO area. Moreover, they respect the international agreements and do not react on the militants' provocations.
