 Russian-terrorist forces attacked Ukrainian troops 52 times yesterday, - ATO Staff

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone remains tense, but under control.

Censor.NET informs citing situation report by the ATO Staff press center as of 6 a.m. March 25.

"Pro-Russian mercenaries continue violating the Minsk agreements by shelling the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with heavy weapons. The enemy committed 52 attacks on the Ukrainian troops' positions over the past day. 38 of them were recorded at the Donetsk section of the front," the report reads.

According to the Staff, most of the enemy attacks impacted Avdiivka, Marinka, Maiorsk, Zaitseve, and Luhanske. The militants employed 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, and small arms there.

"The number of attacks at the Mariupol section of the front increased compared with the previous day. While militants committed four assaults there the day before, their number reached 14 yesterday. The enemy was firing at Staromykhailivka, Trudovske, and Kaplany in this area. It should be noted that the enemy employed IFV guns, automatic grenade launchers and sniper weapons there," the Staff reported.

It was also reported that one unit of the enemy equipment, namely KAMAZ truck, was destroyed by the Ukrainian troops providing response fire invited by the militants' attack."

"It should be noted that the number of enemy assaults does not actually decrease, but the ATO forces continue to firmly hold their positions," the ATO Staff summed up.
