Jaresko dismissed as PM candidate due to her intention to limit oligarch benefits, - deputy Rada speaker Syroid

Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko was dismissed as possible candidate for the PM's post because she could cancel a number of oligarch benefits.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was stated by deputy speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oksana Syroid on air of "Evening Prime" TV show on 112 Ukraine.

"The precautions were taken possibly due to the fact that Natalie could be too far from the world of today's oligarchs, because her job and, as far as I know, her intentions were to limit many oligarch benefits for the purpose of strengthening of the Ukrainian economy," Syroid said.

She noted that there are "not so many independent people ready to go for that" in acting parliament.
