General Staff spokesman Vladyslav Selezniov said on air of Radio Svoboda, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, Ukrainian officers dealing with this issue are careful in their estimates.
"The media loudly report about enemy losses. According to our operational data, militants suffer casualties, but it is virtually impossible to quantify them. The opposing side has professionals who timely evacuate their dead and wounded," Selezniov said.
He added that militants mostly attack Ukrainian army positions in dark hours, starting at 7 p.m., when OSCE observers no longer monitor the situation. On March 24, according to Selezniov, separatists continued their attacks. In the vicinity of Avdiivka, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded.
