"Andrii Sadovyi and, I'm afraid, all of us were played a dirty trick on, which confused many people. The president of Ukraine has not proposed the post of prime minister to Andrii Sadovyi.
"Firstly, he had not got sufficient power to do so. Secondly, he literally said the following: "Andrii, I will not mind if a new coalition nominates you," to which Lviv's Mayor asked whether Poroshenko had confused him with Volodymyr Hroisman.
"And when journalists, whom the president's press secretary told that Sadovyi had been proposed prime minister's seat, asked whether he intended to head the government, the mayor of Lviv tried to explain that no one had voiced such proposals after all.
"He said that Samopomich had actually got 26 votes in the parliament which was 200 votes less than the number required for majority," Yehor Soboliev said.
