15 people were killed in Maelbeek metro station explosion in Belgium's capital city.
The Guardian reports citing local broadcaster VTM, Censor.NET informs.
The Maelbeek station is only 500 m from the EU buildings.
Currently, passengers are being evacuated from the metro wagons.
European Commission employees were ordered to remain in the buildings.
Later, the Metro operator La Stib has confirmed that 15 people were killed in the Maelbeek metro station blast, The Guardian reported.
According to La Stib, 15 people were killed, 55 wounded, 10 of them in grave condition.
