Earlier, the Ukrainian delegation was denied access into the courtroom after the first recess. The president's spokesperson, consul general, consuls, and MPs were waiting in the press room.

Riabchyn said that three people in the courtroom were wearing T-shirts with portraits of Kornelyuk and Voloshin and inscriptions: "Savchenko is guilty of their death." The lawmaker said that these people were taking pictures with cameras in their mobile phones, which was strictly forbidden in this court. "They have also been filming! The diplomat has reported to the guards but to no avail!" Riabchyn added.
