Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction Chairman Yurii Lutsenko said, Censor.NET reports citing Podrobnosti.
"I rule out that Yatseniuk will be able to remain prime minister for a third year in a row. It seems to me that both he and the People's Front faction have realized that the government actually failed. And the last talks are held solely on the format of the next government that will be adopted by the parliament.
"The first option, supported by our faction, the society, and our Western partners, is a technocratic government led by Ms. Jaresko, who can form a nonpartisan government, which should make a rapid breakthrough in reforms, especially in ousting the oligarchs and party tycoons from power in the government monopolies," he said.
According to him, this option was not supported by the Samopomich faction, which refused to enter into any coalition, any government, including the one likely headed by Sadovyi or Jaresko.
"The People's Front offers to form the next Cabinet from representatives of the parties who will be nominated by the Verkhovna Rada factions. This will certainly not guarantee rapid reforms, but, nevertheless, the change of the prime minister, the change of the government is the least sought by our faction," Lutsenko said adding that talks on formation of such a government were held daily.
"I think I can express hope that we will be able to hold an extraordinary meeting next week, maybe on Thursday, where we will vote for the new prime minister, the new government, the new government roadmap, and finally put an end to a deep crisis, which has been caused by inaction of the current government in key areas of its activity," Lutsenko said.
