Poroshenko Bloc faction deputy chairman Oleksii Honcharenko said on the sidelines of the Rada, Censor.NET correspondent reports.
"We did not discuss it within the faction. But we believe that the experience he has, including the experience of political persecution against him, is an extremely important blend: when a person, on the one hand, headed the Interior Ministry and on the other hand, experienced persecution against him and his family. He spent several years in jail for no reason. I think this mixture would be useful for the country," Honcharenko said.
Commenting on Lutsenko not having juridical education necessary for the post of prosecutor general, Honcharenko said that certain changes may be introduced to the legislation: "the same 226 votes needed to appoint prosecutor general may change the law."
