"We recognize the obstacles the Russian authorities create to relatives, defenders and witnesses, violence and intimidation of anyone, who openly speaks about the political persecution of Ukrainians in Russia, as attempt of the Kremlin to prevent the unbiased coverage of the mock trial of Mykola Karpiuk and Stanislav Klykh and other Ukrainians, who have become political prisoners.

"We demand the Russian side to immediately take measures to ensure the Ukrainian diplomats' security of stay and travel through the territory of the Russian Federation, investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice."
