 Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry urges international community to maintain sanctions against Russia until de-occupation of Crimea

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine calls on the international community to extend sanctions against Russia until it completely de-occupies Crimea.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mariana Betsa said at a briefing, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"Crimea has been and still remains the territory of Ukraine. We call on the international community to step up pressure on Russia to make it immediately return to the observation of the international law and the abolition of all illegal decisions, including the occupation," she said.

Betsa stressed that sanctions against Russia should continue until de-occupation of Crimea.

She also reiterated that the human rights were constantly violated on the peninsula.
