 Tusk urges Russia to immediately free Savchenko and other Ukrainian political prisoners

President of the European Council Donald Tusk called on Russia to immediately release Ukrainian pilot Nadiia Savchenko and other Ukrainian political prisoners.

He said this during a trilateral meeting in Brussels with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, Censor.NET reports citing Sviatoslav Tseholko's Twitter.

Earlier, U.S. President Barack Obama in a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Monday stressed the need to free Nadiia Savchenko.
