 Hroisman signs law on electronic declaration of officials’ assets and income

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Hroisman has signed the law on electronic declaration of officials’ assets, income and expenses.

The bill's status has been updated on the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine website, Censor.NET reports.

The law No. 3755 stipulates that officials will be held criminally liable for submitting false data in their income statements. The information is considered false if it accedes the actual one by 250-fold minimal income threshold (the minimum wage is currently 1,378 UAH or about $50), that is 344,450 hryvnia (about $12,760).

Consequently, the law will be submitted for President Petro Poroshenko's approval.

The bill amended by the president was adopted without any changes on Tuesday.
