Poroshenko Bloc considers Klimkin as one of candidates for PM, - lawmaker Andriievskyi

The Petro Poroshenko Bloc considers current Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin as one of the choices for the post of the prime minister.

Poroshenko Bloc faction MP Dmytro Andriievskyi said, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the political force.

"We discuss Volodymyr Hroisman, Natalie Jaresko, and several other nominees, including current Minister of Foreign Affairs. But I want to reiterate that these are just consultations. The decision will be taken when we clearly see that there are 226 votes to support the corresponding draft - to dismiss the government first, and then submit the relevant president's bill and vote for a new prime minister, who will promptly organize a new government," he said.

"I was one of those lawmakers, who did not support Yatseniuk's resignation three weeks ago. I had clearly stated my position to the faction then: in my opinion, voting for resignation without a candidate, who will lead the government and form it, will put an end to cooperation with the international community and implementation of the budget. We can vote only if we clearly understand who and when will form the new government," the politician said.
