"Three forces mostly interested in early elections in Ukraine: populists, oligarchs, and the Kremlin," - Yatseniuk

Populists, oligarchs, and the Kremlin are mostly interested in early elections in Ukraine.

As reported by Censor.NET referring to Ukrinform, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk said it in "10 minutes with prime minister" TV statement on Sunday.

"Three forces are mostly interested in early elections in Ukraine: populists, oligarchs, and the Kremlin. The common sense dictates that under the current difficult circumstances, public trust will be used by populists and radicals. It is natural, as in critical conditions everyone intuitively confides not in the worse truth, but a better promise. Populists promise to instantly eradicate corruption, thousands of euros in salaries and pensions already tomorrow, housing and jobs for everyone, welfare here and now, dollar at the UAH 5 rate, and free gas at all times. This is a lie, an ordinary lie designed to seize your trust and votes," Yatseniuk said.

According to him, the interest of the oligarchic forces that are curbed by the government lies in a shaky new parliament and as a result - a weak government as a whole because it will create favorable conditions for the restoration of the old schemes.

"In turn, the Kremlin is interested in an exhausted Ukraine. The country's fiasco will be used by Putin to split the European Union, have the sanctions lifted, and justify its crimes against the Ukrainian state. He who is deliberately paving the way for early parliamentary elections opens the gate to Putin," the head of government stressed.
